Fuel Good Day Celebrates 10 Years of Giving Back Across Northern BC

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 15, 2026, as Fuel Good Day returns for its 10th anniversary, bringing communities together to support local organizations across Northern BC.

For the past decade, Fuel Good Day has turned everyday purchases into meaningful support for charities, clubs, and community groups throughout our trading area.

On September 15, Four Rivers Co-op, along with our partners at Federated Co-operatives Limited, will donate 10 cents from every litre of fuel sold at participating Gas Bars to their selected local organization. Customers can also support Fuel Good Day through Big Cool® and Co-operative Coffee purchases, with $1 from every sale donated.

At participating propane locations, a minimum of 5 cents per pound of propane sold will also be donated.

Our partners at Turtle Wax are joining in from September 9 to 15, donating $2 from every Extreme Wash at the Westgate Touchless Car Wash and a portion of wand wash sales from the Spruceland Car Wash in Prince George.

Please Note: Each participating location’s proceeds support its selected Fuel Good Day recipient organization.

Kitimat Minor Hockey Association
• Kitimat Gas Bar, 884 Lahakas Boulevard

Keep an eye out for local hockey players stopping by throughout the day to visit with customers and help celebrate Fuel Good Day.

Stop by between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and visit the 4-H booth while you fuel up.

Northern Wellness Society
• Burns Lake Gas Bar, 613 Highway 16

Northern Wellness Society will be on-site from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with an information booth and raffle ticket sales, with a few treats possibly making an appearance too.

Vanderhoof Curling Club
• Vanderhoof Gas Bar, 277 West 1st Street

Fuel up and grab a hot dog! The Vanderhoof Curling Club will be hosting a BBQ from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Prince George Therapeutic Riding Association
• Spruceland Gas Bar, 835 Central Street
• McMillan Gas Bar, 1746 Hart Highway

The Prince George Therapeutic Riding Association will be joining us with information tables, brochures, stickers and treats.
Visitors to McMillan Gas Bar may even get the chance to meet Myrissko the Fjord horse, who is expected to make a special appearance during the day.

The Prince George Salvation Army

Westgate Gas Bar will have plenty happening from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., including a Salvation Army tent, silent auction prizes and their branded food truck.

Baker Creek Community Club
• Quesnel Gas Bar, 498 Front Street

Stop by from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a bake sale and visit with members of the Baker Creek Community Club. There may even be a gift basket up for grabs.

Rising Star Rescue Society
• Hwy 97 Williams Lake Gas Bar, 1335 Cariboo Highway
• Broadway Williams Lake Gas Bar, 1258 Broadway Avenue S

Things are getting a little furry at the Hwy 97 Gas Bar! Rising Star Rescue Society will be there from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with sheep, an information booth and a Highland cow kissing booth.

Highland 4-H Club

Come hungry! Highland 4-H Club will be serving up a concession BBQ from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with BBQ proceeds supporting the Clinton Wildfire Recovery Fund.
