Four Rivers Co-op is hiring a FULL-TIME PETROLEUM CLERK at our Petroleum Branch in Vanderhoof, BC. The successful candidate will work 32-40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Petroleum Manager, you will:
• Demonstrate Four Rivers Co-operative’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Service and Excellence in everything we do.
• Work co-operatively with team members who deliver legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here.”
• Promote our Co-op brand values: Locally Invested, Community-Minded, and Lifetime Membership Benefits
• Provide information, assistance, and exceptional customer service, listen to and elevate customer complaints as appropriate and provide answers to inquiries.
• Stock shelves and general housekeeping duties to ensure a well-maintained storefront
• Reception duties including greeting customers and answering and directing incoming calls in a professional and polite manner
• Process and record payments for fuel, oil, and propane sales

Who you are:

• Self-motivated, self-managing and takes initiative
• Demonstrated communication and computer skills
• A team member with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
• Ability to work as a team member to manage the total office workload, develop and streamline procedures and take such training as is appropriate and available
• Experience in an office or petroleum setting would be considered an asset
• Ability to lift 50lb as required

The pay scale for this position is $16.75 to $20.75 per hour. Starting pay of applicants will be based off knowledge, skills and experience.
