Job Overview: Reporting to the Assistant Store Manager you will be responsible for:
• Foster a strong workplace culture that reflects Four Rivers Co-op’s values.
• Lead and develop a team that provides outstanding customer service.
• Support budgeting, purchasing, inventory management, and pricing to optimize sales/minimize shrink.
• Ensure adherence to brand, merchandising, and food safety standards.
• Oversee scheduling, delegation, and daily operations.
• Manage hiring, training, coaching, and performance development.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and suppliers.
• Handle and prepare value-added products while maintaining quality standards.
• Regular heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) required.

What You Bring:
• Grade 12 required; a diploma or degree in Business or logistics is an asset.
• 3+ years of customer service experience, including 1+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in budgeting, planning, and operating statements.
• Knowledge of the food store industry and inventory control procedures.
• Strong leadership, team development, and motivational skills.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple demands.
• Proficient in computer systems and retail technology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Honest, results-driven, and committed to collaboration and excellence.
